About EMPHASIS

EMPHASIS (Empowering HE through access to cooperation for Sustainable Practices and Energy Efficiency for all) is more than a project it is a movement towards embedding sustainability, digital innovation, and social inclusion into higher education. The initiative aligns directly with the objectives of the European Green Deal, the Paris Agreement, and the UN Sustainable Development Goals, particularly SDG 4 (Quality Education), SDG 7 (Affordable and Clean Energy), and SDG 13 (Climate Action).

Through a 24-month collaborative journey, our project brings together 8 dynamic organizations from Greece, Denmark, Kosovo, and Bosnia and Herzegovina. Together, we are designing and piloting innovative learning modules that fuse cutting-edge technologies with sustainability education, ensuring students, staff, and marginalized groups can all benefit from modern, future-proof educational tools.Our mission focuses on inclusivity, bridging the digital divide, and empowering women and people with fewer opportunities to actively engage in sustainable development and energy efficiency sectors.
